I will be 20 weeks this thursday! I can't believe it. This pregnancy is flying by. I can feel so many little kicks and jabs these days and I love it. When life gets a little stressful, those kicks help me to slow down and appreciate every second. Last week I spent a day in the city doing my favorite things while one of my best friends captured it all.

Matilda and I spent some time at
Piedmont Park. It's still one of the prettiest parks I've ever seen. It's a perfect spot to have a picnic, walk your dog, take a stroll, or just experience the
amazing touchless port-a-potties.

We twirled and played and I stayed amazingly comfortable in these
bamboo leggings. Seriously, there is no waist band and it feels like you aren't wearing anything. Dreamy! The cover-up kept me cool. I found this in the sale section at Target and have worn it multiple times. I love that I can wear it after baby, too.
These photos were taken in my Mama's beautiful apartment. This was the first time I've ever had a crown braid! Mandy certainly did an amazing job making me look like a Grecian princess. This
maxi dress screams for bold accessories and fancy hair. It is the softest, yummiest dress. I could sleep in it.
There is pretty much nothing that I love more than a ladies lunch. Especially when it's with my sister (who no pregnant woman should ever have to walk next to;)). We had a drink to cool off. It was such a hot day but nothing could keep me from feeling so grateful.

LOVE! Yay for maternity clothes that look modern and don't make you look like it's 1995 (my perpetual problem with most maternity clothes). I would love to have those leggings for the last few months of my pregnancy! So amazing. And, yay for them shipping internationally...it's become such a headache for me!

ReplyDeleteFriend of your sister and followed her recommendation to your blog. Very impressive. It is my wife who I would buy for - she would love the black or white lace trim maxi dresses. I've learned early on that great maternity clothes go a long way in making my wife happy and in return, make my life happier and easier as the spouse. You look beautiful in the dress above and have an awesome sister.
ReplyDeleteWell obviously don't enter me in the giveaway since I am not pregnant, haha. BUT I am going to alert Micaela and Amy Keck right away. You look AMAZING in that black dress with the gold wishbone necklace--prettier than ever! I love it so much, and you!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first ever pregnancy and I've been scared to jump into maternity clothes...but http://www.seraphine.co/popper-breastfeeding-tee-blue.html looks to be amazing! That and what I have found is so comfortable! I'm kinda scared that I jumped too early into maternity clothes, but within the second month, my jeans wouldn't button at all! I'm really short and petite, so my little one had nowhere to go but out I guess. It doesn't really matter because I'm absolutely loving watching my stomach grow :)
ReplyDeleteOh! And I agree, Piedmont Park is a beautiful place! A hidden gem in such a hectic city!
I found you from Claire Kiefer, and I liked them on Facebook - those pics are gorgeous!
