I'm sort of obsessed with making this breakfast sandwich. So much so, that I made it for dinner. There is something so satisfying about breakfast food. You really get it all: salty, sweet, comforting. It's the perfect combination. I make this sandwich on a toasted Ezekiel english muffin (my favorite kind of muffin) and then I...
butter both sides
melt cheese on one side
spread preserves on the other
the middle is full of a runny fried egg and crispy bacon
What more do you need in life? I've been feeling a little burned out on all accounts and this is good mood food. Know what I mean?

Oh, I am so with you right now. Both on being burnt out and being obsessed with a breakfast sandwich. I make one daily! Except I can't find any bacon in the stores that doesn't have sugar in it -- any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteMiss you.

ReplyDeletehi! so, they're kind of tricky because they are always in the frozen section. i get mine at harrys which is in the freezer next to the bakery. kroger has them in the health foods freezer. hope you can find them, they're sooo good! xo
Deletewow that looks so yummy. I'm very early into my pregnancy (8 weeks) and I have been avoiding over easy eggs. Am I wrong in thinking I can't eat them??
ReplyDeletecongrats on your pregnancy dena! to my knowledge you're not supposed to eat raw eggs, but i've never heard of not eating over easy eggs... i eat them all the time and did with my first pregnancy, too. make sure to ask your doctor if you're concerned!
