HAPPY WEEKEND!

Matilda and I had a little morning out alone. As much as we love getting together with friends, I treasure these times with just the two of us. We got to the park early and had it to ourselves the whole time. It was shady and perfect. I've had a lot of thoughts and worries lately about not having these moments with my first born, being able to juggle being Matilda's mama and also the mother of this sweet baby. I know that a natural balance will fall in to place, it's just hard to imagine it right now. I just love her to pieces and want her to always know that I'm there for her. Her smile literally makes my heart want to explode.

Hope you all have a great weekend, friends!

    1. You are such an awesome mom! I can only imagine what it must feel like to have these years with Matilda alone and then try to figure out that new balance with the new baby. It's gonna be different for sure, but like you said, it will all fall perfectly into place. I was a first born child and treasured time alone with my parents, but I gotta tell you, time spent with my little sister was some of the most fun I'd ever had. The best is yet to be!

    4. I've had the same thoughts. I love Martha so much it's hard to imagine loving another baby just as much and still making Martha feel equal. I know it'll all work out but I definitely think about it.

    5. I just wanted to tell you that I found your blog via Danielle at Sometimes Sweet (she linked to your fabulous healthy pregnancy series) and I've fallen in love! I have a 9- month-old son with a new baby on the way (I'm 12 weeks today) and my husband and I have both really struggled with the division of time, balancing a growing family, and how our love will split or expand as someone new comes into our little nest. I really relate- it's mind blowing. Thank you for sharing your life, it's lovely!
