Starts with cool mornings, boots + sweaters, coffee in our favorite mugs, church, and lunch with my grandparents. The sermon was on envy and selfish ambition which had me examining my heart. This week had me doing a
lot of reflection. Something that I've been craving more of... adventure! We decided to take Matilda to her very first state fair.

Corn dogs, bright lights, funnel cakes, apple dumplings, Matilda's first rides, dancing to some awesome hip hop, and some
great people watching. It was a time. The perfect way to bring in fall and the really good news is that I didn't get puked on. The last time I went to the fair, that happened. Oh, and it was hot pink.

ReplyDeleteWhat absolute fun! Y'all look completely adorable and believe it or not, I have NEVER been to a state fair. I feel a little deprived. Maybe I'll put this on my bucket list.

DeleteI have some great memories as a child going there, looks like tilda had a blast. yay! for not getting puked on this time. Lesson learned, NEVER walk under the swings ever again.
ReplyDeleteState fairs = awesome. Looks like y'all had a blast. So jealous that you're already wearing sweaters. We're still peaking mid-90s temps in south GA.
