Over the weekend we celebrated a first birthday at an adorable picnic-themed party, had an adult dinner out to celebrate a
30th birthday, made crock pot potpourri (recipe coming tomorrow!), and I had a date with myself. I've been experimenting with my camera as much as I can. I went to the square and strolled around and ate some delicious pumpkin ice cream (I can't say no to anything pumpkin - we made
this FOUR times last week). Matilda has been nursing a cold for days now. The start of preschool has brought home quite a few stuffy noses already, but I'm thankful it's strengthening her little immune system. Hope you all had a great weekend. I seriously cannot believe it's October. This is one of my favorite months of the year!

I'm sick too. :( I've had a bad cold twice in the past two weeks! UGH
ha! yes, this was a slightly different experience. the picnic basket is amazing, but not mine. my friend christy used it for her daughter's birthday party.

DeleteYour photos look great and I have a hard time resisting pumpkin too with the exception of pumpkin pie. I can't wait to see your crockpot potpourri recipe. It's one of my favorite things to do in the fall. If you're ever at the square, the play train used to have a number 3 painted on the side. (I think it still does) I got Luke's pictures with it when he turned 3 and it was really cute!
