GETTING SETTLED (TEMPORARILY)

We are slowly settling in with my Dad while we are making plans for the farmhouse. Nothing is really rolling yet, we've just been finalizing the floor plans, waiting on permits, and basically making some really big decisions.

This house is full of retro charm. There are wallpapered walls, amazing custom storage, little nooks for reading, and tons of places to explore. It's a dream for a child. Matilda has been hiding from me since we got here. :) There are also really gorgeous outdoor spaces as well as stunning lake views. My brother came up the other day to visit.

It's so hard to believe that Phoebe is almost two months old. The days really do fly by. I woke up this morning with a much more relaxed perspective. It was nice to take the morning as it came instead of rushing out the door for school. Phoebe has been napping in her crib, allowing Matilda and I to color and spend some quality time together, just the two of us. I love those girls.

  3. Yey! Excited to read two things by you today. I'll be selfish here and say I love when you post a bunch. Now I'll be empathetic and realistic-it's so darn hard to juggle it all. How in the world are you doing this!?

Thanks for always being honest and sharing with us out here in blog world!

There's a lake by Mike's house??? I had no idea!
Speaking of houses, what is a farmhouse if it's not on a farm? Haha I'm so uneducated about homes!
    Love you!
