A Few Last Minute Gifts

Happy monday! Hope you had a great weekend. We saw Santa twice (eek!). First, our new friends Kinsey and Justin had us over to their beautiful home for snacks and an extra special visit from the big guy. If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen this picture of the incredible night. Santa was prepped about what little ones were going to be there so he knew their names and special things about each child. He also had small gifts for each of them. It was completely magical. Matilda said, "he got me just what I wanted." Love. He also read The Night Before Christmas and sand Rudolph with them after handing out red noses to everyone. It was amazing!!

Saturday we headed to the West Side (you can see my favorite West Side spots here) for Tinsel and Twine. I scored the sweetest baby hat + wooden teether from Willaby Handmade and the prettiest first knuckle ring by Fawn Jewelry.

Can we talk for a second about being a mama to little ones and Christmas? I am finding it nearly impossible to check off my to-do list (cards, neighbor treats, hostess gifts, side dishes, gifts, etc). Thank heavens for the internet. I feel so bad for our moms who were hoofing it on foot trying to make things happen. My hat comes all the way off! Here are a few fun things that you can order online that will make it here by Christmas (I think most shops guarantee Christmas delivery up to the 19th).

This is a selection of some of my favorite things, a few that we already own and some that are on a wish list. I decided on a total whim (thanks to my friend Emily!) to snag those rain boots for Til. She will wear them every day I have no doubt and I bought a size too big so they should last a good long while (and Phoebe can wear them!). I want them in my size (hint, hint). I also totally love that record player! Aren't the dots fun? It ships for free, too. Just sayin'.

I had to share these slippers for any of you shopping for the men (or anyone that you love) in your life. They are hands down the best. I steal them at every chance I get. Sam has had them for three years and they are still in awesome condition.

My talented friend Erica just launched her shop, Yes Ma'am and I absolutely love everything in it.

Happy shopping! Are you finished with your list? Be gentle, don't make me feel too bad.

  4. Loved meeting you and thank you for sharing my website! Ah yes, being a mom to little ones.....thank goodness for the internet, indeed. We are doing a Paperless Post Christmas card this year because it means that I don't have to write out all of the addresses and stuff all of the envelopes. :)
