Preparing for Alt Summit

I think for me, Alt Summit is the holy grail of blogging. For years I have pined over not being able to attend and followed like a hawk, waiting for great quotes and photos to pop up on twitter. It's actually one of the only times I really like twitter, that and monday nights during the Bachelor. I digress... it is so hard for me to believe that a week from tomorrow I will actually be packing my bags and heading to Salt Lake City (if you are a voyeur like me, feel free to tag along here and here and here). I am mostly excited to learn and to meet people I admire in person (especially Jen!). The icing on the cake is that I'll get to spend time with my talented girlfriends: Krista, Joni, Whitney and Kate. We also just found out yesterday that Christy Turlington will be a keynote speaker (wha?!). It's a seriously impressive (and slightly intimidating) speaker line-up.
I thought I would share what I'll be toting around each day. That Baggu + west elm bag will be my carryall. It was a Christmas gift from sweet Annette and she got the yellow specifically for my trip. How thoughtful is that?! I really love it. I stocked up on about 200 business cards (will I really talk to that many people?! who knows). Here's a preview of the cards. I went super simple and can't wait to get them. I will of course be bringing that darn phone for instagraming and I love a simple moleskin for note taking. I'm hoping to take one of the photo classes so I'll be bringing my DSLR. Last but not least (I am a girl) I will be bringing OPI black onyx and Kate Moss for Rimmel lasting finish in 06 (the prettiest fuschia!).

As far as clothing goes... I will be shopping my closet and wearing lots of these seven things as well as a few pieces from Le Tote (they are letting me try their membership out!).

Any tips for me?! Have you been to Alt (or any blogging conference) or Salt Lake City? Are you coming? Hope to meet you there!
