What To Do In the Garden In March

IMG_2316.jpg

✔️ clean out beds of old plant material
✔️ cut back old growth when you see signs of new growth
✔️ add compost to top 2-3” of your garden beds or pots
✔️ plant summer flowering bulbs (in Georgia Elephant ears, Gladiolus, and Lilies are great choices)
✔️ lift and divide overgrown perennials (great way to add free plants to your garden or share with a friend)
✔️ start your seedlings indoors for Tomatoes, Peppers, Kale, etc.
✔️ mow the lawn as needed
✔️ cut back roses

I don’t know what our garden will look like this year with everything we have going on at @thefarmtenoaks but we have already started cleaning things up with cutting back ivy and pruning trees.

What are your garden plans this year?
