SPRING FEVER

Well, I sort of unintentionally/intentionally took a week off from this little space. I tend to fall a little out of love with blogging from time to time, where I just feel uninspired. I was just waiting for the desire to come along. I've been struggling with not feeling quite myself and dealing with spring allergies (the pollen count was 10,000 last week?!), so I've been tired. I am excited for this beautiful season! I have been lucky enough to spend time with lots of friends over the past week, eating on patios, catching up. It has been so good for my soul. We also made it to church on sunday. What an accomplishment. It felt really good to be there.

These photos were taken at Willow's backyard birthday party which was the perfect way to spend a saturday afternoon. Friends, hot dogs, s'mores, playground, adult beverages, and costco cake. Dear heavens. Have you tried it? It basically tastes like a Publix yellow cake with the addition of a layer of cold, creamy custard. Get you some. I made Willow my very first crayon roll using this tutorial. I've always wanted to make one and I thought this preschool activity book was really cute.

That last picture of Willow laughing with her Daddy makes me so happy. Great party Jen and Ham!
