ONE MONTH + A GIVEAWAY! closed

Our little Phoebe turns a month old on Monday. It is surreal. I've been wading in dirty clothes and baby kisses and coloring books with Til in a sleepless haze. It feels like a huge accomplishment. Had it not been for some extra hands and my amazing husband, not sure I would have fared so well. This month has been a real adventure and I've learned just how much my heart is capable of loving my little ones. They are incredible. Matilda loves Phoebe to pieces. She talks to her in the highest pitched voice imaginable and always wants to kiss her head and to hold her while I read to them. Gush. Just more cuteness than I can handle sometimes. This month has also been a bit overwhelming, days where we don't get out of our pajamas, not without tears. It's been a true test of endurance.
We are slowly but surely finding our new rhythm. We went out to dinner for the first time as a family of four, we're keeping the house a little cleaner, and we're feeling a bit less over our heads. As far as Phoebe goes, she is the sweetest baby. As long as I feed her and give her plenty of snuggles she is a happy camper. The only thing she really hates is... the car. We drove Matilda through the Lights at Life and she screamed the entire time. Ha! Poor Til.
When I was pregnant and putting together a wish list for Phoebe, at the very top was an Ergobaby carrier. So many people had sung its praises and I really wanted a carrier with some longevity, that was comfortable, and that Sam would also enjoy.
There are so many details about the Ergobaby that I really love, the sleeping hood being one of my favorites. Simply pull the hood up and over baby and they have a cozy, shaded spot to sleep. I also love the large front pocket - perfect for keys and my phone. The most wonderful feature of course is how comfortable it is. The padded straps are amazing and it's super easy to get on and off. The carrier comes ready to wear, no confusing wrapping or buckling.
Phoebe loves being in the Ergo. Here she is nestled in the infant insert happily dozing away. The carrier works with infants 7-12 lbs (with insert) all the way up to 40 lbs. I also think it's great that there are three carrying positions: front, back, and hip. The carrier works on most adult body types and heights. Sam and I have both worn the classic carrier and he loves wearing it while he's working in the leather shop. It's really adorable. Nothing sexier than a baby wearin' man working on some leather.
I am so, so excited to be teaming up with Ergobaby to give away this Bamboo forest carrier (infant insert not included). A $120 value. I guarantee that the lucky winner will love it. The pistachio green color is really lovely in person and I dig the embroidery details and printed hood.

Let me also please say how torn to pieces our family has been for everyone affected by the tragedy that occurred in Connecticut. We are praying and mourning along with the rest of the world. May God bring peace.
