Biking to the Farmer's Market

OK, so here goes with more summer bucket list checking off. We crossed two off the list this weekend and today I'm sharing a family bike ride that the amazing Katie Oblinger documented this past saturday. I love her. I am super camera shy and she makes me feel so comfortable and happy. We all suited up on our bikes to head to our local farmer's market. I rode my new bike, Pearl. Isn't she the prettiest?!

We are really trying to be bike people. We have been taking short neighborhood rides and the girls love riding along. We even got a bike rack! I know, we are so sporty. I'll be honest, my first ride was a little rusty. I haven't ridden a bike in over 15 years. It's so exhilarating!! I've been dying to put my basket to use. The sweetest flower seller let me borrow this stunner for the shoot (next time bringing cash!).

The heat is on in the south (but who can really complain after this epic winter?!). We can't make it to the farmer's market without a King of Pops' pop. Grapefruit for Bee and Lemonade for Til. Love those little feet. Phoebe's perfectly patriotic clip is from Hello Shiso. They were so sweet to send over some of the cutest clips for the girls (like these and these!). Love! Matilda picked out these star spangled outfits. Tis the season. ;) Also, Phoebe's face in the photo below...

I love these people. So thankful for the way Katie captured us. She's so talented, that lady! Also, can we talk about how I have no hair? It's been so easy, but I feel naked.

I'm so grateful for these frozen moments. Sometimes in the chaos of the every day I miss these tender times. Sam is really great with both girls, something I hold so close.

Three cheers for trying new and exciting things and for family outings. I seriously have fallen in love with the freedom of rolling on two wheels, hair in the wind. It's good.
