Happy New Year!!!

For the first time this year we are keeping the tree up through Epiphany (Jan 5th! - also the proper etiquette for taking down Christmas decor according to Southern Living) which celebrates the 12 days of Christmas where the wise men traveled to Jesus and had an “epiphany” that he was the son of God. ✨

I took all of our “Christmas-y” ornaments off of our tree and brought it into the new year with this fun banner (Sam carefully cut each word from the others and made loops to attach to the tree) and all of the sparkly gold ornaments and garlands.

I will never not have our tree up at new year’s again. 😭👏

We spent new years as a family, ordered pizza, played this game, this game, and this game and cheersed at 8:00 PM. My kind of night!
