I have a masters in Zillow 😂

While there is no substitution for a good agent, let me introduce you to my favorite hobby: Zillow Stalking

Sam and I have invested heavily in real estate since 2006 and while not all have been money makers, we have made some very strategic moves.

We got a lot of questions about how we found @thefarmtenoaks and I would love to share a few tips + tricks, then let your agent know you want to see them! Real estate is crazzzzy right now so do not delay and never forget the power of networking. :)

1. Create a saved search. Map out the specific area you want to live in and save it as a “saved search.” Check DAILY!

2. Search using the parameters you are looking for, price, home type, bedrooms etc but do not forget to hit “more” and type in keywords like “farmhouse style” or “mid-century” or “tudor”

3. Search by acreage - I knew we wanted a minimum of 10 acres so this narrowed down our search a lot.

4. Use the app! It will make it so easy + quick to see what’s happening each day.

5. Do not judge a book by the first photo! For whatever reason people do not always put their best foot forward on Zillow. Our property said it was a 2 bedroom 1 bath but once I clicked in I saw SO MUCH MORE. Sometimes it’s a crappy photo of grass - click through!

Ok, now fess up! Who else has their masters? What did I miss?
