We Are Moving + Home Tour! — Lesley W Graham

Now that the decluttering and “getting ready to show the house” dust has settled, I’m here to share the extremely bittersweet news that we are moving. Selling our dream, custom built home is one of the hardest decisions that we have had to make but we knew if we wanted to make the farm what we know it can be that we would need to be there full time. I also don’t know how people manage two homes with kids, school, jobs, etc. My hat comes off to you!!

When you build a custom home, everything from the type of brick, to the brick pattern, to the colors, finishes, placement, etc is all chosen by you. I’ve never poured my heart and soul into something more than I did with our sweet Marietta house.

Very grateful for our builder Steve Frey who did an absolutely incredible job! He was already planning on building this house but we got in early enough to do a pre-sale (not every builders fave to deal with a client the whole building process haha!!). They already had a floor plan that our friend Dan Olah had created and we left it mostly alone minus the girl’s spaces.

The heart of the home!! The kitchen + keeping room are where we spend most of our time. Love this cozy space.

Kitchen lighting and hardware is all from here. Blinds are from here. We went with the Bali Natural Shades in Spree Studio. We used the same blinds throughout the house and had the ones in the bathrooms and bedrooms lined. We went with the blackout option for the bedrooms and they were great!

Love this breakfast nook that looks out over the garden. The wallpaper is William Morris “Boughs” in blue and the chairs can be found here. Art is by Lulie Wallace. Table was handmade by a friend. Light fixture is by Bobo Intriguing Objects.

Powder room and laundry are in the hall that connects our bedroom to the keeping room. We repeated the William Morris wallpaper in the hall and did Hygge and West in the bathroom. The vanity is custom and painted the same color as our front door and dining room.

Our upstairs loft! Love this space for kids and watching movies. We displayed all of the instruments up here. Chairs are vintage, sofa can be found here, coffee table here, rug here.

Phoebe’s room but actually both girls slept here every night. The sweetest! The beds were a hand-me-down from my mama, bedding came from here, canopies from here, vintage dresser, rug similar here. We used the same blinds throughout but added black out backing to the bedrooms.

The girl’s bathroom we switched from a jack and jill to each girl having their own vanity with a linen closet with the shower in the middle instead. Festival Herringbone Tile came from Floor and Decor, hardware from here, shower curtain here, mirror here. Art by Britt Bass.
