A SPRING WALK

Yesterday we went to our neighborhood to take a walk. We met my dad for a stroll. You can tell we're ready to be there. I am spending all of my "free" time at the house and loving exploring our new neighborhood. There are so many incredible houses and gardens. My bread and butter! This garden wall is one of my all-time faves. Pretty, huh? Behind it is a pea gravel drive way that leads to this really stunning barn. I've always wanted to wander back there.

Everything is the prettiest green right now. New plant life! I've been pretty much obsessing over our new garden and what plants I want to make little homes for. There is so much potential because the previous home owners were not gardeners and it's basically a clean (and slightly barren) slate. My sweet across-the-street neighbor told me that our street used to be a garden and that there is no red clay. Hallelujah! Our old garden was almost entirely red clay, even after tilling it!

This little lady isn't as interested in stroller rides these days. We ended the walk with a romp around the playground. Guinness came too. Shhh! I was a nervous wreck that he was going to poop at the playground. We finished the night with tacos and bluegrass. I really love this town. Wish I could stay outside all day but lately I've been having the most intense sore throats and coughs from the pollen. I've never experienced this before. Anyone have any natural allergy remedies that are working for them?
